    My Fitness Challenge

    2009 - 11.28

    Hi Challengers,

Fitness challenges must be the most fun challenges to complete. I guess you have to really love exercising for it to be so much fun. I love it and it is so kool.

So day 2 into my second fitness challenge and I went to yoga this morning, then went for a bike ride this arve, just before we were expecting a wild storm to hit. The ride was great and the storm held off thank goodness. I don’t think it would be quite as much fun to be biking in a wild hail storm.

Are you up for the challenge?

    Another Challenge Complete

    2009 - 11.27

    Hey Challengers,

I have completed another 30 Days Challenge! It is really amazing when you get started on something and you are motivated how things just keep on working in your favour.

I have been on a fitness challenge!  Some form of exercise every day. It was so easy, I walked everyday. On some days I also did a Zumba class, great high energy burning up the calories class… I have also been riding my bike the last few days to and from work.

So for my next 30 Days Challenge I shall be riding my bike everyday. On top of my walking down the beach or the river, and Zumba. Exercise is a fun part of the week for me I just love it. Even though I am wondering why I have started being such a fitness freak in the soaring summer temps that we have had lately here on the coast.

Here’s to sweating out the toxins and freakin fitness challenges..

What will you be doing for the next 30 Days Challenge?

    Woo hoo

    Walking in the rain…

    2009 - 11.10

    Hello Challengers,

Tricky heading out for a walk on the beach this afternoon. There was a light drizzle, and the sky was very cloudy. Wasn’t looking promising for the 13th day of excercise. Started to wonder if we would actually get to do the walk at all, as it was a much heavier coastal shower on the beach and cold and windy. Great surfing weather conditions and much warmer in than out I would imagine.

Sheltering under the surf patrol tower for 5/10 mins watching the waves rolling in and the surfers heading out via the rip was entertaining. Then the clouds passed and the sunny blue skies appeared. I think someone was letting me know, I was not going to get away with not walking today. How awesome it was to head off on the beach walk. The ocean and the beach is just so inspiring. One of my favourite spots to be.

So yes we did it, walked again and feeling great as usual. A simple walk yet a challenge to do it daily. Well it’s not really that hard as it is such a magical place to be.

    Catch ya later

    Spark your Dream…

    2009 - 11.09

    Hello challengers,

I have been walking consistently for days now and it is awesome. The beaches and river are just incredible places to walk. You meet the most interesting people

Yesterday while walking at the beach we met the most amazing family. They are travelling around the world. 8 or so years ago they headed off on a journey to travel from Argentena to Alaska. They have not stopped since. Living their most Grandest Dreams. They have been living in and travelling in a genuine 1928 Graham paige vehicle. Even more amazing is that they have 4 children from less than 1 to 6 years old. 4 children, 4 countries of birth and remember they are living out of an old car. We got home and I checked out their website, even more amazing, all the info on there about their journey, so far…

My dreams are nowhere near as big and grande as theirs. They are the most inspirational couple I have ever met.

    Zumba! Zumba! Zumba!

    2009 - 11.05

    Hey Challengers,

So for 9 days now I have been challenging myself to excercise daily. So far sooo good. I have been walking on the beautiful  Noosa and Sunshine beaches, or along the gorgeous Noosa River.

Until today…I didn’t walk anywhere… except for the daily intake of kilometers, that I walk around my creche picking up and chasing children around all morning.

Instead my darling daughter decided that we would go do a Zumba class! Well talk about a workout. We had the most fun, and it was so Kool. We want to do it every day. The only problem is, it is only on twice a week. One I can do the other I work. So for now it will be one nite a week, Zumba, latin dance workout.

Thursdays will be my Zumba nite. Oh my goodness, the way I feel at the moment, I’m not even sure I will be walking tomorrow. I am truly all Zumbarrrrd out. Talk about work the hips, butt, legs, abs, arms, and whatever else in between. And not to mention the head space. Trying to keep up with the moves. I felt like a youngin again. Oooops, I am a youngin aren’t I. Haha. Trust me, my daughter was in her element with the moves. She had it happening. And she looooved it.

So for now it is beach and river walking and Zumba!

So how is your challenge going for you? Just as much fun as mine. I really hope so, because you have to add the fun factor into your regime of whatever it is you are challenging yourself to do daily.

Look forward to next week. Talk to you soon

    Walking on Sunshine Beach…

    2009 - 10.31

    Hi Challengers,

I’ve been walking on Sunshine Beach, as the Noosa Triathlon is on this weekend. So Noosa Main Beach is busy, the roads are closed and it’s just easier to stay away. It gets pretty chaotic for a while and it is a great experience to be down there in amongst it. Just don’t need to do it every year.

    Misty at the Beach
    Misty at the beach

Sunshine Beach is just as beautiful! Much quieter room to walk on the beach easily. We went to the doggy beach where we use to take our beautiful Misty. She loved it there, running up and down the beach chasing balls, playing with strangers and frollicking with other dogs. She would have so much fun with us. Yes, we miss her…

So the walk was great, it feels fantastic and it didn’t rain on me. lol

I hope you are challenging yourself and enjoying the wonderful days of sunshine and warmth. I am.

    By for now

    donna :)

    Another day another challenge…

    2009 - 10.30

    Hey there Challengers,

So day one was a bit of a disaster, although it was fantastic to be up and down the beach at 5.30 am. Rain or not it is beautifully inspiring.

Today I decided not to go at  5am cause it looked like rain. Ha, I’ll go at 1pm when I finish work. This time I’m at the stunning Noosa river. I’m feeling great powering along and 15mins into my power walk, what happens you guessed it. It rained on me… Only this time it was a coastal shower and not to heavy. I did feel the drips running off my nose and my hair dripping but it was ok to continue and not to have to find shelter. I did it. This is a 40 min walk and it is just gorgeous to see the sparkling waters and the people enjoying it. They were skidaddling when it began to rain though.

    So day 2 is complete.

    Let’s see what tomorrow brings

    Exercising Challenges…

    2009 - 10.29

    Hi Challengers,

So yesterday I began my challenge to exercise for 30 days. Any kind of exercise suits me, a variety is awesome,  so I won’t get bored with it and will continue to do it.

Ok sounds pretty easy yeah! Well yesterday morning at 5.am we are up, had tea and toast and off to Main Beach Noosa. Ready to walk the beach, it generally takes about 30mins up and back. Oh and don’t forget to touch the rocks at each end. haha!

It is 5 mins into the walk, sprinkles of moisture on me, is it just a passing seagull or is it rain?  Arrrhhhhh Noooooo! It can’t rain on me. I have to walk, to get fit, to lose weight. Don’t they know I’m doing a 30 Days Challenge. So now its 10 minutes and I have identified it is a coastal scud. It will pass quickly, no worries. Ok now its 15 mins into the exercising regime and I’m jogging now as it is pouring on me. Yes pouring. I am soaked. It gets even heavier, I say enough’s enough and I run now, up to access 12 and call my hubby, who has been waiting for me in the car watching the waves rolling in at first point. And I’m sure he could tell I’d be wet…

I am now safely out of the rain, undercover and waiting for my lift. Well what happens next, he goes racing past and doesn’t even slow down. Ha Ha he’s just trickin me and I’m so wet, and then as he turns around and returns to pick me up, I open the car door and the rain stops. Completely! OMG.

Oh well there is always tomorrow

    Yours in challenging times

    Donna:)

    And the Challenge is…

    2009 - 10.28

    Hey hello, Challengers,

And the challenge is… for me to exercise everyday!

Whether it is walking, swimming, running, standup paddle surfing, hot yoga, pilates or whatever else happens to cross my path daily. I am on a mission to excercise every day and lose 2 kg in the process of this 30 days challenge. I know thats not alot but for me with all the other experiences  in my life at present, this is huge. Big time huge. I luuuuuv it all…

Have an awesome time challenging yourself in your world. I know I am and it is really amazing, taking great steps to greatness.

    Donna :)

    A new week is dawning…

    2009 - 10.26

    Hey Challengers,

A new week is dawning, the world is awakening on my side of the earth. So many new opportunities to seek, so many new opportunities to create, so many new opportunities just waiting for us to recognize them and make the very most of them.

What opportunities will you see today? What opportunities will you act on today?  Finding the opportunity in everything presented today is your challenge. Imagine the possibilites in every opportunity, imagine what you could achieve if you just saw the opportunity in all that you feel, do and see. Not just today but always…

    To the challenge
