30 Days Challenge

 

Hi,  I am Donna Lingard,  daughter,  sister,  aunty,  cousin,  niece,  mother,  godmother,  granddaughter,  wife,  acquaintance,  work colleague and  friend.  Above all I am just ME!

 

My favourite colour is…  any guesses??? I love my family, the beach, yoga, being creative, sipping champagne and eating chocolate.

 

In my colourful life I have been a hairdresser, beautician, travel agent, resort manager, fashion consultant, a business owner, a school admin assistant, a teachers aide, a teenage mentor, an international property investor, an outside school hours care coordinator, a creche leader, an Inspirational childrens Author and today I add  a 30 Days Challenger to that list.

 

I met my wonderful husband Wayne, and traveled around the world for a couple of years settling back in the wonderful world of oz. We have 2 awesome teenagers, Kyal  and Kelsie . We have lived on the Sunshine Coast for the past 10 years.

 

These days Wayne and I are reliving our teenage years all over again, this time we are the parents, loving, protecting and giving advice and freedom of choice, to our two gorgeous teens. Sometimes the kids listen sometimes they don’t. Sometimes we get it right sometimes we don’t. That’s all OK in the bigger scheme of things, because we are living our lives intertwined with one another and guided by each other as a happy healthy successful family unit full of love and peace, within Our World.

 

When choosing what to do in my life there are some factors I take into consideration.

I must

• be challenged even a little

• be excited and get a serious tingling in my tummy

• take a journey (it may include travel, it may be an inner journey) 

• love and learn something from every experience

• give something back to the community, in some small way

• feel warm and fuzzy for having achieved a challenge, no matter how small or large, or easy or difficult the process.  

 

I chose to travel overseas, invest in property, be a business entrepreneur, try all kinds of careers, marry the man of my dreams and have a family and most recently become an author and challenger. All for the reasons I do anything in my life. To be challenged, excited, to give and share something valuable, to love and learn something from the experiences. The journey I have taken, so far has achieved all of the above and more.
