    Habits…

    2009 - 10.12

     Hey Challengers,

I received this report link yesterday. Thanks Janet. It just totally amazed me to think it is exactly what I am offering you here in the “30 days challenge”, exactly what I believe is so true. I have cut the number 3 from the “29 ways to ingrain a behavior” document and pasted it below. It is “Do a 30 day challenge” which includes posting your progress to a forum, thats what you have here. WOW. It just made me realize I need to get moving and finish this for you now….It is really Kool to have something come into your world that makes you see that you are doing something worthwhile, something others are looking for and something kool for others to achieve their greatness.

The Habit Change Cheatsheet: 29 Ways to Successfully Ingrain a Behavior

    3. Do a 30-day Challenge. In my experience, it takes about 30 days to change a habit, if you’re focused and consistent. This is a round number and will vary from person to person and habit to habit. Often you’ll read a magical “21 days” to change a habit, but this is a myth with no evidence. Seriously — try to find the evidence from a scientific study for this. A more recent study shows that 66 days is a better number (read more). But 30 days is a good number to get you started. Your challenge: stick with a habit every day for 30 days, and post your daily progress updates to a forum.   To read more click on the Zen Habits title below….

Do it now, don't wait till it's too late…

    2009 - 10.09

    Hey challengers,

Do you know we only have around 80 to 90 years to do everything we want to do, be everything we want to be and have everything we want to have. That’s not long enough, its going to fast and it’s speeding up. OMG get moving on those dreams and goals, get out there and do it…..

Have you been waiting till something happens before doing what it is that you really want to do. Something that may take a very long time or take to long to happen. The one thing that comes to mind is “How long have you been thinking of doing that”? Weeks, months, years, just go for it, just do it, do it now.

Don’t wait till it’s colder or warmer

Don’t wait till the rain stops or starts

Don’t wait till winter comes or goes

Don’t wait till the kids are older or left home

Don’t wait till the house is paid off

Don’t wait till the debt is completely clear

Don’t wait till you get a new job

Don’t wait till you have a new car

Don’t wait till you can afford it

    You can’t afford to wait…

You can’t afford it when it’s too late…

    Don’t wait till it’s too late…

I know this sounds negative, but there is a time and place for negative comments and my plan is that this brings out the positive in everyone.

Go for it, do what you have to do, to start your process of  Creating Achieving and Living your Dreams…

    don’t wait any longer….

    see you later

Day 6: Sunday "not alot of rest for the motivated"

    2009 - 08.23

    Hello fellow challengers,

So today is Sunday… As I said above there is no rest for the motivated. (Yes I was tempted to say wicked.)

I am committed to my 30 Days Challenge and although it is Sunday I will be working on and off today on my mission to bring you a great place to visit, full of interesting and exciting information and activities for your personal challenge.

My vision is to have it ready for lift off in 3o days. Actually 24 days now. Being accountable to you my fellow challengers, and making it public is really making me work hard to get it done. Amazing how that works.  Ahhhh! You’ll see when you sign up.

    See you later

    have a wonderfilled day
