    Walking on Sunshine Beach…

    2009 - 10.31

    Hi Challengers,

I’ve been walking on Sunshine Beach, as the Noosa Triathlon is on this weekend. So Noosa Main Beach is busy, the roads are closed and it’s just easier to stay away. It gets pretty chaotic for a while and it is a great experience to be down there in amongst it. Just don’t need to do it every year.

Sunshine Beach is just as beautiful! Much quieter room to walk on the beach easily. We went to the doggy beach where we use to take our beautiful Misty. She loved it there, running up and down the beach chasing balls, playing with strangers and frollicking with other dogs. She would have so much fun with us. Yes, we miss her…

So the walk was great, it feels fantastic and it didn’t rain on me. lol

I hope you are challenging yourself and enjoying the wonderful days of sunshine and warmth. I am.

    By for now

    Exercising Challenges…

    2009 - 10.29

    Hi Challengers,

So yesterday I began my challenge to exercise for 30 days. Any kind of exercise suits me, a variety is awesome,  so I won’t get bored with it and will continue to do it.

Ok sounds pretty easy yeah! Well yesterday morning at 5.am we are up, had tea and toast and off to Main Beach Noosa. Ready to walk the beach, it generally takes about 30mins up and back. Oh and don’t forget to touch the rocks at each end. haha!

It is 5 mins into the walk, sprinkles of moisture on me, is it just a passing seagull or is it rain?  Arrrhhhhh Noooooo! It can’t rain on me. I have to walk, to get fit, to lose weight. Don’t they know I’m doing a 30 Days Challenge. So now its 10 minutes and I have identified it is a coastal scud. It will pass quickly, no worries. Ok now its 15 mins into the exercising regime and I’m jogging now as it is pouring on me. Yes pouring. I am soaked. It gets even heavier, I say enough’s enough and I run now, up to access 12 and call my hubby, who has been waiting for me in the car watching the waves rolling in at first point. And I’m sure he could tell I’d be wet…

I am now safely out of the rain, undercover and waiting for my lift. Well what happens next, he goes racing past and doesn’t even slow down. Ha Ha he’s just trickin me and I’m so wet, and then as he turns around and returns to pick me up, I open the car door and the rain stops. Completely! OMG.

Oh well there is always tomorrow

    Yours in challenging times

    Donna:)
